Description
As tears of grief wash her eyes, Tasja sees her middle-class, suburban life for what it is: a hamster wheel.
Tasja wants out, and she’s taking her family with her to The Valley of a Thousand Hills.
The joy of greener pastures, however, is swiftly overshadowed as disaster strikes the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal. And unlike lightning, it doesn’t only strike once.
Despite their own struggles, Tasja feels compelled to help those less fortunate.
Determined to become a beacon of hope to the shell-shocked victims of tornadoes, lockdowns, riots and floods, the Da Silvas begin to collect and distribute critical resources to a community in need. During these dark days, Tasja finds her calling. In the midst of crisis, she finds purpose in lighting up the lives of those around her and, in doing so, her own.
No Silva Spoons is a story of struggle and kindness and making a difference in your community – on purpose.
